The Barrel Mill 9-Inch American Oak Char 3 Toast Infusion Spirals - 6 Pack

The Barrel Mill 9-inch American oak infusion spirals are designed to add real wood flavor to beer and cider. This 6-pack of spirals is made from American oak wood toasted to a char 3 level using convection heating, imparting flavors of dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, and a smoky character. The patented spiral-cut design increases cross-grain exposure for faster flavor extraction compared to traditional barrel staves or wood chips. Each pack is suitable for infusing one 53-gallon barrel of beer or cider. Full flavor extraction takes 4 to 6 weeks, with noticeable flavor as early as the first week. These spirals offer a cost-effective and less messy alternative to wood barrels and chips, ideal for commercial brewers seeking consistent barrel-aged flavor.
