This Tuile Template featuring a monkey design is an invaluable tool for creating magnificent plated desserts. It allows you to use various batter mixtures such as tuile, cigarette, tulipe, meringues, hippenmasse, and ice cream cone mixtures to create intricate shapes. The template is easy to use: place it on a Silpat, spread batter into the design cavities, scrape off excess, lift off the template, and bake for approximately 5 minutes. The shapes can be molded while warm on bottles, jars, dowels, or cups for decorative presentation.
Made from FDA approved plastic and NSF listed, this template measures 10.5" in width and 15.5" in length. It is perfect for pastry chefs and home bakers looking to add artistic flair to their desserts. Decorations can be applied with a fine tip pastry bag before baking, and cut-outs can be made during partial baking for added design effects.
