Batting Hobbs Heirloom Black 80/20 Batting Package
Designed for quilts made with black or dark-colored fabrics, this Hobbs Heirloom Black 80/20 batting helps keep fabric colors true while reducing the look of light fiber lint on the quilt top during quilting. Its color-fast, dyed cotton fibers make it a practical choice when you want a clean finish and dependable performance for hand or machine quilting.
The batting offers a low-loft look with close quilting and a slightly higher loft when stitching lines are spaced farther apart. It is recommended for quilting every 4 inches or closer, and it is not recommended to pre-wash. Quilters may experience 3-5% shrinkage.
