LBX Viscosity Modifier by International Coatings
The LBX Viscosity Modifier by International Coatings is a non-phthalate liquid plasticizer designed to reduce or modify the viscosity of standard plastisol inks. This modifier provides flexibility for printers who need to adjust ink thickness without compromising curing or fusing characteristics. LBX is most effective in small amounts (1% to 5% by weight) and is ideal for general viscosity adjustments.

- Non-Phthalate: Free from phthalates, making it safer for use.
- Viscosity Reduction: Effectively reduces the viscosity of standard plastisol inks.
- Recommended Proportions: Use between 1% and 5% by weight for desired viscosity adjustments.
- Non-Curable Modifier: LBX does not cure on its own and may cause curing issues if overused.
Important Information:
- Excess Use: Overuse of LBX may cause fusing or curing problems in the ink.
- Not Suitable for Low Bleed Inks: LBX reduces the bleed resistance of low bleed inks and should not be used with these applications.
- Testing with Other Brands: Designed for use with International Coatings products; thorough testing should be done if used with other brands to ensure performance and durability.
- Curable Reducer Alternative: A curable reducer is recommended for viscosity modifications, as it will cure properly with heat and time, yielding better results.

- Avoid Low Bleed Inks: Not suitable for low bleed inks, as it will lower their bleed resistance.
