The twill weave with its distinctive diagonal lines allows the dark indigo warp threads to dominate the face, while the reverse is much paler due to the undyed white weft threads. Durable and without stretch, the crisp hand and stiff drape are ideal for blending fashion and function to create aprons, bags, and overalls, or for crafting outstanding sculptural silhouettes in dresses and jackets.
