This set of 5 needles includes Jersey Machine Needles in sizes 70/10, 80/12, and 90/14, and Stretch Machine Needles in sizes 75/11 and 90/14. Both feature a medium ball point to prevent knit fiber breakage during stitching. The Stretch needles, with a smaller eye and deep scarf, are ideal for highly elastic knits like those containing Lycra or Spandex. Jersey needles are perfect for standard knits, jerseys, and some stretch fabrics. While sometimes interchangeable, we recommend testing your needle, thread, and fabric combo for best results.
