Created and narrated by Mikey Rotella, The Initiate was released in February 2015 as part of The Monster of the Month series. The character sought an arcane initiation ritual in 535 BC, descending into catacombs beneath Italy to learn divine secrets.

After experiencing prophetic visions, he attempted to overthrow the magistrate and rule, surviving a sword attack and living for thousands of years. The Initiate now rules through corrupt governments and greed, representing the pinnacle of esoteric power and wickedness.
