Woven in very fine crepe yarns, the result is an impeccably thin, yet surprisingly strong construction, delivering a featherweight medium with a minute sheen. Design simple bias-cut garments or put it to use as an overlay, being sure to avoid tight-fitted silhouettes. Without stretch, it's best to include extra wearing ease in your designs, too. We suggest incorporating a built-in slip made from a sumptuous charmeuse or preparing a (separate) lining made from an opaque material. Try your hand at sewing french seams, or finish straight seams with zig-zag stitches or pinking shears to help prevent the fine yarns from unraveling.
