Finer than Guttermann Top Stitch Thread, Gutermann Extra Strong Thread is a heavy duty thread ideal when sewing jeans, heavy woven fabrics, leather, canvas covers, rugged repair work, etc. Along with being tear and fade-resistant, Gutterman Extra Strong Thread is both elastic and soft. Made of the highest quality, this extra strong thread forms uniform stitches and seams that do not pucker on any kind of fabric. Other features include shrink resistance and iron resistance up to 390F and washable up to 200F. On 100 meter (110 yard) spools, Gutermann Extra Strong Thread comes in premium colors suitable for a variety of projects.
