The Hobart HS8-1 manual slicer is designed for safety and efficiency with a 13" CleanCut™ knife and zero knife exposure, making it safer than similar products. It features a 1/2 horsepower electric motor, ergonomic handle, and a 30-second automatic shut-off for added safety. The slicer includes a removable ring guard cover, heavy-gauge stainless steel knife cover, and a top-mounted Borazon stone sharpener for maintaining blade sharpness.
Constructed with a sanitary anodized aluminum base and equipped with multiple interlocks including home-start position and gauge-plate interlock, this slicer ensures reliable operation. Its dimensions are 30-5/16" width, 22-1/8" depth, and 25-1/2" height, with a maximum food height of 7-1/2" and width of 12". It slices cheese and other foods with a slice size of up to 1".
