The Zig Tuile Template, Open Book 3" x 2", 12/Mat is an invaluable tool for creating stunning plated desserts. It allows bakers and pastry chefs to form various shapes using different batter mixtures such as tuile, cigarette, tulipe, meringues, hippenmasse, and ice cream cone mixtures. The template is easy to use by placing it on a Silpat, spreading batter into the cavities, scraping off excess, and baking for approximately 5 minutes.
Once baked, the shapes can be lifted off and molded while warm on bottles, jars, dowels, or cups to create elegant dessert presentations. Made from FDA approved plastic, this template features 12 cavities in an open book design and is NSF listed, ensuring it meets food safety standards.
