Primo Red F1 tomato is an early maturing variety producing large to extra-large smooth, deep globe-shaped fruit with a rich red color and firm texture. The compact determinate plants are ideal for early season plantings and offer excellent eating quality.
This tomato variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt (1 and 2), Tomato Mosaic Virus, and has intermediate resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus. The fruit may have a pronounced pointed blossom end, which has not been problematic for growers.
