Biotech Crown F1 is a bioengineered yellow supersweet sweet corn variety that offers built-in resistance to insect pests, especially lepidoptera species, and tolerance to specific herbicides including glufosinate. This Attribute Plus level variety reduces the need for insecticides and provides greater flexibility in weed management, making it suitable for fresh market and roadside sales.
The ears average 8 inches long with 16 kernel rows, protected by a strong husk package and ample tip cover. The plants are strong and adaptable with attractive flag leaves. Due to regulatory requirements, orders require a Grower License Number and completion of the Attribute Sweet Corn Grower Agreement. This product is not available for sale in Idaho, Oregon, or Washington.
