This dark red silk velvet fabric is crafted from 20% silk backing and 80% rayon pile, measuring 45 inches wide. It features a soft, plush texture with no stretch, offering a luxurious feel traditionally associated with nobility. The fabric is suitable for a wide range of uses including casino and pool table surfaces, pillows, drapes, cornices, elegant gowns, cocktail dresses, bag linings, upholstery, capes, coats, skirts, pants, gloves, headbands, and handbags.
It is machine washable at any water temperature. The fabric is cut in one continuous piece after ordering, ensuring consistent yardage for your projects. Note that it shrinks approximately 11% in length and 4% in width after washing.
