For best results, hand wash with warm, soapy water before and after use, avoiding extended soaking. Prior to baking, brush the pan with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to prevent sticking. Baking spray containing flour is also acceptable, but regular cooking spray should not be used. Fill the pan no more than three-quarters full to avoid overflow and refrain from using metal utensils or abrasive cleaners on the nonstick surface.
