This medium consistency blue buttercream icing is ready to use for decorating cakes and cupcakes with borders, flowers, leaves, stars, shells, and other designs. It can be thickened with powdered sugar for stiffer piping or thinned with water for spreading or cupcake swirls. The icing sets but does not dry hard, so treats decorated with it should not be stacked or tightly packaged.

The 16 oz tub contains vanilla-flavored icing that covers two 8 or 9 inch cake layers, one 13 x 9 inch cake, 24 smooth iced cupcakes, or 10 swirl decorated cupcakes. It contains milk and soy and should be refrigerated after opening. This versatile icing helps create beautiful blue decorations with ease and consistency.
