This 1 dram bottle of creme de menthe flavor is suitable for mixing with fondant to create candy centers or for making non-alcoholic Grasshopper drinks. It is appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings, with a typical usage of ¼ to ½ teaspoon per pound. When substituting for extracts, use ¼ to ½ teaspoon of this flavor for every teaspoon of extract.
The flavor is also known as candy oil or flavoring oil and is kosher certified, gluten free, and sugar free. It contains propylene glycol, ethyl alcohol, natural flavor, Blue 1, and Yellow 5, and is soluble in water. This concentrated flavoring is ideal for adding a minty taste to various confectionery applications.
