This natural Cool Crème De Menthe flavor oil is designed for use in candy, chocolate, and baking applications. It is highly concentrated, being three to four times stronger than typical water or alcohol-based extracts, so only a small amount is needed to achieve a strong mint flavor. The typical usage is between 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per pound of product.
Certified kosher, gluten-free, and sugar-free, this flavoring contains natural flavor and is insoluble in water. It is especially suitable for chocolates and coatings, providing a refreshing mint taste. When substituting for extracts, use about one-quarter to one-half teaspoon of this flavor oil for every teaspoon of extract called for in recipes.
