This Canadian Maple Flavor is a concentrated candy oil perfect for enhancing the taste of hard candies, cakes, cookies, frostings, and ice cream. It contains a small amount of sugar derived from real maple sugar, providing an authentic maple flavor. The flavor is three to four times stronger than typical water or alcohol-based extracts, so only a small amount is needed for a rich taste.
Ideal for use in chocolates and coatings, the recommended usage is about ¼ to ½ teaspoon per pound of product. This gluten-free flavoring oil is soluble in water and contains artificial flavor along with other ingredients such as caprylic/capric triglycerides and propylene glycol. It is a versatile ingredient for various baking and confectionery applications.
