This concentrated maple flavor oil offers a sweet, aromatic essence reminiscent of classic breakfast maple syrup. It is designed for use in a variety of confectionery and baking applications including hard candy, cakes, cookies, frosting, and ice cream. The flavor is super strength, meaning it is three to four times more potent than typical water or alcohol-based extracts, so less is needed to achieve a rich maple taste.
Please note this flavor oil is not suitable for use in chocolates or coatings. When substituting for extracts, use between 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of this flavor oil for every teaspoon of extract called for in recipes. It is also known as candy oil or flavoring oil and is ideal for enhancing the flavor profile of many sweet treats without adding sugar.
