It is water soluble and suitable for use in chocolates and coatings, typically at 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per pound. Known also as candy oil or flavoring oil, this product contains natural and artificial flavors along with capryllic/capric triglycerides, propylene glycol, alcohol, and water. When substituting for extracts, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of this flavoring for every teaspoon of extract called for in your recipe.
