Each case contains twelve 32 fluid ounce paper cartons, totaling 3 gallons. The mix ships frozen and can be stored frozen for up to two years. Thaw the mix in a refrigerator before use to allow flavors to blend. After thawing, refrigeration permits storage for up to 30 days, or 15 days once opened.

Preparation methods include blending three parts mix with one part Tropics ice cream mix and ice for smoothies, or blending three parts mix with one part rum and ice for daiquiris.
