The emulsion is water-based, which helps it retain its strength and aroma during baking, unlike alcohol-based extracts that can evaporate. It is suitable for both high-heat and no-bake applications, making it versatile for use in cakes, cookies, brownies, frostings, glazes, and fillings. The emulsion can also enhance chocolate flavor in cakes and icings.

Formulated to match the strength of traditional alcohol-based extracts, it can be substituted 1:1 in recipes. For baking, use 1 teaspoon of emulsion in place of 1 teaspoon of extract. When replacing brewed coffee, add 1 teaspoon of emulsion per 1/2 cup of coffee and increase other liquids accordingly. Due to its high water content, it is not recommended for flavoring chocolate or hard candy.
