This 1 gallon LorAnn Oils strawberry bakery emulsion delivers a rich, freshly-ripened strawberry flavor for baked goods and frostings. As a water-based emulsion, it retains flavor strength during baking by resisting evaporation better than alcohol-based extracts. It is suitable for cakes, cookies, sweet breads, frostings, glazes, fondants, fillings, and cream centers. It can also be added to beverages such as lemonades, tea, cocktails, and smoothies. The emulsion is formulated to substitute 1:1 for traditional alcohol-based extracts. Use 1 teaspoon of emulsion for 1 teaspoon of extract in baking, or slightly less for frostings and whipped cream. Due to its high water content, it is not recommended for chocolate or hard candy flavoring. This product is dairy free, gluten-free, kosher, made in America, and tree nut free.
