This Briess crushed Goldpils Vienna malt is produced from quality North American 2-row malting barley that is carefully selected, germinated, and kilned. It provides a clean, sweet flavor with warm, malty, and slightly biscuity notes, finishing with an exceptionally clean profile. The malt adds a light golden color with a beer color rating of 3.5 SRM.

It can be used as up to 100% of the base malt for ales, traditional German lagers, and full-flavored dark beers, or in smaller quantities (up to 10%) to add warm, malty flavor to most beer styles, especially high-gravity bock-style beers. This crushed malt is pre-milled for immediate use and has 3.5% moisture, an 80% extract yield, and a diastatic power of 95 degrees Lintner. Packaged in a 50 lb. bulk bag, this kosher malt is made in America and should be stored in a low-humidity environment below 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
