For application, ensure the garment is clean and freshly laundered, including new items. Preheat an iron to the "COTTON" setting at 400 degrees and allow it to heat fully for five minutes. Iron the garment area where the patch will be placed thoroughly.
Position the patch with the embroidery facing up, cover it with a cotton cloth or light towel, and press firmly in a slow circular motion for 30 seconds. Then, turn the garment inside out and iron the back of the patch for another 30 seconds. Let it cool for one minute. If the patch edges lift, repeat the ironing step.
