• Cut from the back with a craft knife or small snips to preserve the pile and reduce shedding.
• Use a walking foot if available, longer stitch length, and pin or clip generously.
• Finish raw edges with a serger or zigzag stitch. Gently brush seams after sewing to blend pile.
• Spot clean when possible. For larger items, hand wash or machine wash cold on delicate in a mesh bag with mild detergent. Do not bleach.
• Lay flat or line dry; avoid high heat. Do not iron directly on the pile—steam lightly from the back if needed.
• Store loosely in a cool, dry area; fabric is naturally moth-resistant and does not require cold storage.
