This Hobbs Heirloom batting is made for low-loft quilt projects where a clean, dependable cotton layer is important, and the thin scrim helps support the batting as it is worked and stitched.
It is designed to be strong yet soft, and it becomes softer after washing. The batting is shipped in a box to help prevent damage during transit.
- 100% unbleached natural cotton
- Needle-punched with a very thin polyester scrim stabilizer
- Approximate loft: 1/8+
- Shrinkage: 3-5%
- Distance between stitches: 4" max.
- Size: 96" wide by 30 yards
- Suitable for hand quilting and machine quilting
- Recommended for dark fabrics and light fabrics
- Pre-washing is not recommended
